# Lipseys

# Lipseys Integration

Connect your FirearmCart store with Lipseys for product import and dropship fulfillment.

## Features

| **Dropship orders** | Orders submitted to Lipseys when fulfillment is processed |

## Prerequisites

Before connecting, you need:

- Active Lipseys dealer account
- Valid FFL license
- API access (request from Lipseys)
- **Two sets of credentials** — Lipseys issues a separate store account and dropship account, each with its own email and password

## Setting Up

1. Navigate to **Plugins > Marketplace**
2. Find **Lipseys**
3. Click **Activate**
4. Add the listed IP addresses to your Lipseys account, then tick the confirmation box
5. Enter your credentials:

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| **Store Email** | Email for your Lipseys store API account |
| **Store Password** | Password for your Lipseys store API account |
| **Dropship Email** | Email for your Lipseys dropship account |
| **Dropship Password** | Password for your Lipseys dropship account |

6. Click **Activate Plugin**

Both accounts are authenticated when you activate. If either set of credentials is rejected, the plugin will not activate and the failing field is highlighted, so you can tell a store-account problem from a dropship-account problem.

Once activated, an initial catalog sync starts automatically and a **Lipseys** item appears in the sidebar under **Plugins**.

## Importing Products

1. Go to **Plugins > Lipseys**
2. Search the catalog, or narrow it with the **All Manufacturers** and **All Categories** filters
3. Use **Filters** to hide out-of-stock or already-imported products, or to set a cost range
4. Select the products you want, then click **Import**
5. Set your **Markup %** and confirm

Imported products are added to your catalog as **drafts**, so you can review them before they go live.

### Product Information

Imported products include:

- Name and description
- SKU and UPC
- Pricing (dealer cost, MSRP, MAP)
- Stock quantity
- Weight and dimensions
- Product image
- Specifications

## Inventory Sync

Stock levels automatically sync from Lipseys:

- The catalog and stock sync runs on a schedule; how often it re-syncs depends on your plan's sync interval
- Out-of-stock products update automatically
- To sync on demand, open the **Sync info** (ⓘ) menu next to the search box and choose **Resync now**
- The same menu shows the last sync time and progress while a sync is running

## Dropship Fulfillment

For products fulfilled by Lipseys:

1. Customer places order
2. FirearmCart submits the order to Lipseys
3. Lipseys ships to the customer's FFL
4. Tracking syncs back to FirearmCart
5. Customer receives shipping notification

> **Note:** By default, orders are **not** transmitted automatically — FirearmCart creates a pending fulfillment and notifies you, and the order is sent when you process that fulfillment from the order page. Automatic submission on order placement is opt-in through your fulfillment settings.

Lipseys does not expose a per-order status endpoint, so FirearmCart matches shipments from a daily shipping feed against your PO and order numbers. Tracking therefore lands about a day behind shipment, rather than within minutes.

## Troubleshooting

### Connection Issues

- Verify both the store and dropship email/password pairs are correct — an error on the store fields and an error on the dropship fields mean different accounts
- Check that your Lipseys account is active
- Confirm API access is enabled

### Import Issues

- Check if products are in stock
- Verify you have access to the category
- Try importing fewer products at once
