# Marketplace Feeds

Automatically syndicate your products to shopping comparison sites and advertising platforms. Each feed has its own page with setup steps and field reference; this page covers what they have in common.

## How Feeds Work

Every feed is generated from your live catalog and served from your own storefront domain. You submit the URL to the platform once, and it re-reads the feed on its own schedule — there is nothing to upload or re-export when your catalog changes.

Marketplace feeds are available on the Growth and Pro plans. A feed URL only responds while its plugin is active — deactivate the plugin and the URL returns a 404.

Feeds are cached for 5 minutes, so a change to a product appears within five minutes rather than instantly.

Unless a platform says otherwise, a product is included when it is:

- **Active** — anything left as a Draft is never included
- **Not deleted**

**In-stock is not a universal rule.** Google Shopping, Ammoseek and Amazon send in-stock products only. Armanet and gun.deals also carry out-of-stock products, marked `out_of_stock` / `out of stock` in the feed's availability field.

---

## Where Feeds Differ

Each feed applies its own extra rules on top of that, and they are the usual reason a product you expect is absent:

- **[Ammoseek](/integrations/ammoseek)** accepts only specific product types, and requires a different set of specifications for each one — see its page for the per-type list.
- **[Amazon](/integrations/amazon)** excludes firearms, ammunition, magazines and reloading components entirely, because Amazon prohibits them, and needs both a UPC and a brand on everything else. Its feed is deliberately much smaller than the others.
- **[gun.deals](/integrations/gun-deals)** requires a valid UPC, a price above $0 and a product name on every offer, plus caliber and round count on ammunition.
- **[Armanet](/integrations/armanet)** applies no extra rules — every active product goes out, in stock or not.

---

## Troubleshooting

### Feed Not Updating

Feeds are cached for 5 minutes. Wait for the cache to expire, then confirm products have `active` status and that your domain is configured.

### Products Missing from Feed

Check the general requirements above, then the platform-specific rules on that feed's own page.

### Feed URL Returns 404

Confirm the plugin is still active in **Plugins > Marketplace** — the URL only responds while it is. Then ensure you have an active domain configured in **Settings > Domains**. Feed URLs are built from your storefront domain, so changing domains changes every feed URL — resubmit them to each platform.
