Chattanooga Shooting Supplies Integration
Connect your FirearmCart store with Chattanooga Shooting Supplies for product import and dropship fulfillment.
Features
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Product import | Import firearms, ammunition and accessories from the Chattanooga catalog |
| Inventory sync | Automatic stock level updates |
| Dropship orders | Orders submitted to Chattanooga when fulfillment is processed |
| Tracking sync | Tracking numbers sync back to orders |
Prerequisites
Before connecting, you need:
- Active Chattanooga Shooting Supplies dealer account
- Valid FFL license
- API access enabled on your dealer account
- Your SID and Token (issued by Chattanooga, one pair per dealer account)
Setting Up
- Navigate to Plugins > Marketplace
- Find Chattanooga Shooting Supplies
- Click Activate
- Enter your credentials:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| SID | Your Chattanooga dealer SID |
| Token | The API token issued with that SID |
- Click Activate Plugin
Your credentials are verified against Chattanooga’s API when you activate; if they are rejected the plugin will not activate.
Once activated, an initial catalog sync starts automatically and a Chattanooga item appears in the sidebar under Plugins.
Importing Products
- Go to Plugins > Chattanooga
- Search the catalog, or narrow it with the All Manufacturers and All Categories filters
- Use Filters to hide out-of-stock or already-imported products, or to set a cost range
- Select the products you want, then click Import
- Set your Markup % and confirm
Imported products are added to your catalog as drafts, so you can review them before they go live.
Product Information
Imported products include:
- Name and description
- SKU and UPC
- Pricing (dealer cost, MSRP, MAP)
- Stock quantity
- Weight and dimensions
- Product images, the full gallery with the main image first
- Specifications
Inventory Sync
Stock levels automatically sync from Chattanooga:
- The catalog and stock sync runs on a schedule; how often it re-syncs depends on your plan’s sync interval
- Out-of-stock products update automatically
- To sync on demand, open the Sync info (ⓘ) menu next to the search box and choose Resync now
- The same menu shows the last sync time and progress while a sync is running
The product feed is issued per dealer account, so each store syncs against its own catalog and pricing.
Dropship Fulfillment
For products fulfilled by Chattanooga:
- Customer places order
- FirearmCart submits the order to Chattanooga
- Chattanooga ships to the customer’s FFL
- Tracking syncs back to FirearmCart, checked every 30 minutes
- Customer receives shipping notification
Note: By default, orders are not transmitted automatically — FirearmCart creates a pending fulfillment and notifies you, and the order is sent when you process that fulfillment from the order page. Automatic submission on order placement is opt-in through your fulfillment settings.
Chattanooga accepts FFL uploads through their API, so a receiving FFL can be put on file from within FirearmCart rather than emailed across separately.
Troubleshooting
Connection Issues
- Verify your SID and Token are correct and entered in the right fields
- Check that your Chattanooga account is active
- Confirm API access is enabled on your account
Import Issues
- Check if products are in stock
- Verify you have access to the category
- Try importing fewer products at once
Feed Temporarily Unavailable
Chattanooga’s product feed occasionally returns an error or times out on their side. FirearmCart treats this as a temporary outage rather than a failure — the sync is retried on the next run and your existing catalog is left untouched. If it persists across several syncs, contact Chattanooga to confirm your feed access.
